SABONGARI MARKET FIRE OUT BREAK: AN EYE OPENER FOR BIAFRANS IN THE NORTH.

BIAFRANS SALVAGING WHAT IS LEFT OF THEIR GOODS
Sabongari is an Hausa language which means “strangers area”. The sabongari market in Kano State is a market where Biafrans do their buying and selling, despite all warnings to relocate back to Biafra land where they are sure of security of their lives and properties. For three days now, this very market has been on fire, and from every indication the fire outbreak is not accidental.

Sabongari was intentionally set ablazed by the Hausa-Fulani people, in fulfilment of their promise to cripple our people's businesses as exposed in an audio recording  between one Hausa politician simply identified as Alhaji, that got leaked to the public.
The 20:38-minute audio recording, appeared to have been made by a member of one of the political parties or an eavesdropper. The Northern politician, revealed the sinister plot of the Northern politicians to attack the business interests of the people from the South East and South South region of the country.

Investigations led to the source of the audio, who does not wish to be named. It was authenticated that the recording was a real telephone conversation that happened just after the inauguration of the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari on May 29, 2015.
Alhaji took time to reveal the plot of the Northern elites to frustrate people from the South East and South South of Nigeria and revealed that there is a Satanic alliance with some elements of the South West to also join in frustrating the South Easterners and denying them their rights under the constitution to live anywhere they wish and do business anywhere in Nigeria.

Biafrans in sabongari market reported that as the market was going up in flames, the Hausa/Fulani people where shouting Allahu Akbar, which means “Allah is great”.  They were praising their God for successfully burning down the market where Biafrans were earning their living. Is this is not barbaric?.

In Lagos State, Yaba market, Ladipo market, Oshodi market were demolished without prior notice to the traders. Ikosi area of Ketu market was burnt down as well. In Abuja, Gwagwalada market was demolished, and now Sabongari market has been razed down too. These are markets where Biafrans do their trading. But like the name of the market implies, they are considered strangers and not welcome to do business.

Do not be surprised if you hear or read a news of another market fire outbreak in the northern Nigeria, or demolition in Lagos State, because these people are determined to render Biafrans useless. It is imperative that Biafrans in the north know that this is a final warning as they may not only take away their businesses alone, but also their precious lives.
It is time to go back to Biafra land and establish your businesses at home where you are safe.

When a person is not welcomed in a place, he or she does not need to be told to vacate such location and go back home. If Biafrans in the northern Nigeria fail to heed to this call to go back home, i'm aftaid many of them may not make it out of the Mohammedan emirate of the North alive. It has been established that their next plan is to carry out a jihad on all Biafrans and non-Muslims. Our leader Nnamdi Kanu sang it like a song but most people called him a joker and 'hate' preacher, but like a prophet, it is all happening before the eyes of all.

It is obvious that Biafrans are not wanted in Nigeria. From time immemorial, Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba oligarchy has exhibited the height of hatred towards Biafrans in so many ways. The only thing these religious bigots and scavengers are concerned about is our oil. This is the irony of one Nigeria, our lives worth nothing to them. All they seek is to wipe us out from the surface of the earth and take over our rich land. These gullible creatures known as the Hausa/Fulani and their Yoruba co-conspirators are good at burning down our markets, churches, properties, killing us at will in their states, and still killing us in Biafra land with impunity using their islamic soldiers in form of the Nigerian army and the Fulani herdsmen.

This barbaric act constantly displayed by the so called "One Nigerianist" has gone beyond escalation, while the Nigerian government prefer sit on the fence. We are expectant that the EU, UN, US, men and women of goodwill who has value for human life and the international community will support and call for Biafra referendum so as to dampen the already tensed society. We are patient now, but it is also imperative that they know that our patience will soon elapse. We have the right to live and exist as a people, and nobody should think of subjugating us any further because we are Biafrans, we never say die!

Withdraw Nigeria From Muslim/Arab Nations’ Coalition Before It’s Too Late – Christian Elders Warn Buhari

  • Buhari’s support for Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) self-determination and independence, but clamping down on Biafran agitators in Nigeria
  • Continued Detention Of Nnamdi Kanu
  • Kaduna State Religious Bill
  • Abduction And Forceful Marriage Of Underaged Christian Girls
  • Rampage Of Fulani Herdsmen
Islamic Coalition: Christian Elders warn Buhari, say Nigeria not a satellite state of S’ Arabia
The National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF), has faulted what it described the unilateral decision of President Muhammadu Buhari to include Nigeria into the membership of the Saudi Arabia Military Coalition of “Muslim/Arab” nations, warning that he should pull out before it would be too late.
The organisation said such misleading action would send a wrong signal before the global community that the foreign policy thrust of the present administration is to make Nigeria a satellite state of Saudi Arabia.

The Chairman of NCEF, Mr. Solomon Asemota (SAN), gave the warning at press briefing on Friday in Abuja, entitled: “CONFLICT OF IDEOLOGIES AS THE GREATEST OBSTACLE TO PEACE, UNITY AND DEVELOPMENT IN NIGERIA.”

He also faulted attempt to fund deficit in the 2016 Budget through issuance of Sukkuk loan which is a “Sharia compliant loan” and the consideration of establishing “free visa” arrangement with Islamic D8 nations: Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan, Turkey, and of course, Nigeria.
Key members of NCEF include Gen. Joshua Dogonyaro (rtd); Prof. Joseph Otubu, Gen. Zamani Lekwot (rtd), Dr. (Mrs) Kate Okpareke, Dr. Ayo Abifarin, Bishop Joseph Bagobiri, Archbishop Magnus Atilade, Elder Moses Ihonde, Elder Nat Okoro and Prof. Vincent Anigbogu.
Others are Gen. Ishaku Dikko (rtd), Justice Kalajine Anigbogu (rtd), Elder Shyngle Wigwe, DIG P. L. Dabup, Sir John W. Bagu, Dr. Saleh Hussaini, Elder Mike Orobator, Chief Olaniwun Ajayi, Justice M. Ogebe (rtd), Mrs. Priscilla Kuye, Chief Debo Omotosho, Dr. Musa Asake,  Joseph Daramola, Pastor Olatunbosun Emmanuel (Secretary).
Details Below…

A few weeks ago, the National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF) issued a statement titled THE NEED TO PRESERVE THE PEACE AND UNITY OF NIGERIA. Of concern to the Christian Elders is the deteriorating state of national security, the free fall state of the economy, the inflammation of religious tension through the misappropriation of state powers, a worrisome foreign policy that is evidently skewed in favor of Islamization, as well as the increasing impunity of the Fulani herdsmen, amongst many other issues.

The National Christian Elders Forum was established by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to make statements in defense of Christianity in Nigeria, as well as promote peace and unity among Christians and Nigerians, as a whole. The NCEF is made up of Christian Elders from the six geo-political zones in the country.

2. NIGERIA: THE BEGINNING

In retrospect, the amalgamation of 1914 produced a country but not a nation. There was an amalgamation of two Protectorates but there was no integration of the Ethnic Nationalities and this created serious fault lines that still exist today. The unity of the two protectorates was not part of the British Agenda. Rather, Britain sought to maintain a hold on Nigeria through a policy of divide and rule.

In effect, Nigeria remains a country made up of two races pulling in opposite directions. There is the indigenous African race tilting towards a Westernized ideology and the Arab race, made up of Fulanis, Hausas, and Kanuris in favor of adopting the Arabian culture.
At independence in 1960, the impression was created that “all” Nigerians opted for Liberal Democracy as the national ideology. As the years progressed, it became clear that some citizens of the Arab stock were more in favor of a system of rule of which an “important ingredient is the application of the Muslim Law”.

While paying lip service to democracy, many of the political, religious, traditional and military leaders from the Muslim North were insidiously working to undermine democracy and promote Sharia, which is based on Islam and is patterned after the Arabian culture, to which the North has been exposed to for hundreds of years.

Operating under the Islamic practice of “Taqiyya”, which permits a Muslim to deceive an “infidel” in order to gain the mastery over him, leaders of the Muslim North surreptitiously “smuggled” Nigeria into OIC in 1986 and kept it out of public knowledge for ten years until 1996, when Sultan Dasukiconfirmed to the Pope that Nigeria is a member of OIC.
The Islamization Agenda was solidified in the period 1975 – 1999 under the military rule, of which majority of the military heads of state were Muslims from the North. The Muslim Military leaders favored an Islamic model of ideology because it promoted dictatorship. They set up an “invisible” government which operates behind the scene in the Presidency and constantly undermines liberal democracy while promoting Sharia. The “invisible government” is still active till today.

The invasion of the nation by Islamic terrorism and smuggling of Sharia into the 1999 Constitution, thereby creating a dual ideology for the nation, are reflections of the activities of the “invisible government”. Boko Haram, membership of Nigeria in OIC, Islam in Africa Organization, the D8 group, as well as compromise of Section 10 of the Constitution on separation of state and religion, are all interwoven conspiracies to abolish Liberal Democracy in Nigeria and declare Sharia as the national ideology and the nation as an Islamic state.

3. CONFLICT OF IDEOLOGIES

There is the need to stress that at the root of the insecurity, distrust and mutual suspicion in Nigeria is the conflict between Liberal Democracy and Sharia ideology. Nigeria was established as a nation upon the principles and practice of Liberal Democracy. According to the Willink’s Commission Report of 1958:

“The whole structure of the proceedings leading to independence is based on the belief that Nigeria meant to follow the road of liberal democracy and parliamentary government and to base part of the structure on the opposite assumption is to invite government to do their worst. But if the road is followed (liberal democracy and parliamentary government), votes will count and in the last resort it is votes that will win fair treatment for minorities”
Bearing in mind the huge ethnic, cultural, religious, and racial diversities in Nigeria, it was deemed necessary that an all accommodating ideology would be required to ensure justice, equality, and fairness for all the divergent groups in the nation. Unfortunately, a group known as “Islamists” has been working surreptitiously over the years to supplant Liberal Democracy with Sharia as the “source of legislation” in Nigeria, over and above the Constitution.

The present day state of global Islam makes it imperative for a distinction to be made between Islam and Islamism. While Islam is a religion, Islamism, otherwise called “political Islam”, “is a set of ideologies that holds that Islam is not only a religion but a political system”. As a political system, Islamists insist that Islam is meant to dominate the environment in which it is practiced. In a sharply divergent society like Nigeria, any attempt to implement the principles of Islamism portends great danger for the nation.

The various Military Governments of Nigeria, starting from the regime of Murtala Muhammed in 1975, did not hide their preference for the imposition of Islamism upon Nigeria. The Military changed the status of Nigeria and commenced attempts to make the nation an Islamic nation first by making it an OIC observer and thereafter to full membership of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC). Later, Nigeria was made a member of the Islamic D8.

It is clear to the NCEF that since the amalgamation of 1914, the Islamists have been in control of northern Nigeria, while the majority of Christians were in the South. The military government of General Babangida merely extended Islamism to the South of Nigeria by Nigeria’s full membership in the OIC. Thus, in 1981 the race to make Nigeria an Islamic state was accelerated.

Evidently, this ideological competition between Liberal Democracy and Islamism has not helped Nigeria concerning development, progress, peace and security and the reason can be found in the conclusions of several thinkers that Liberal Democracy and Sharia are not compatible. For Islamists of a radical disposition, like the influential Egyptian activist Sayyid Qutb, “democracy and Islam are simply incompatible”.

The British, in their characteristic divide and rule policy, left Nigeria with democracy in the hands of Islamists, knowing full well that democracy and Islamism cannot peacefully co-habit. The challenge facing Nigeria today is how to resolve this apparent contradiction that has created a conflict of ideologies for the nation. If this trend continues, Nigeria is sadly being moved into an arc of conflict and that is why we are calling for a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to be established by law.
It would appear that the Islamists, (otherwise known as the “invisible government”) who used to rule by proxy in all the previous administrations, are now fully entrenched in Government. Rather than pretend that all is well with the country, Nigeria needs to examine its past critically and reconcile all the ethnic, religious, and other groups in Nigeria. Presently, the Islamists control the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary.

It is instructive to note that many Arab nations have found Islamism an extreme way of religious expression and have taken steps to ban it. Examples are Egypt and Tunisia. After the Arab Spring revolution, both nations voted Islamists into power and within a few months, staged another revolution to oust them. Even the United Arabs Emirates is on record to have denounced the extremism associated with Islamism when it alerted Britain on the dangers of giving oxygen to what Britain does not understand. It is therefore a cause for concern that in Nigeria, a multi cultural and multi religious nation, Islamism should be thriving.
As a principle, Islamists “loathe” democracy believing that it is a “man-made” law that must give way for “God made” law, which is Sharia. Islamists, as opposed to Muslims that practice Islam as a religion, will go to every possible length to eradicate democracy in any society so that Sharia can be introduced. Nevertheless, Islamists pay lip service to democracy and claim to promote and support it. Nigerians should understand that such claims by Islamists of supporting democracy are mere pretensions and a display of “TAQIYYA” (deliberate deception) because they work surreptitiously underground to undermine and destroy democracy.

4. ISSUES OF CONCERN

In the build up to the 2015 elections, majority of Nigerians expressed great hope that there would be CHANGE in the nation. However, ten months after the new government was sworn into office, credible apprehension can be expressed given the policy direction of the new administration. We hope that the buildup to these policies do not result in full blown Sharia which President MuhammaduBuhari had promised Muslims in Nigeria.
A number of worrisome issues readily come to mind:
a) The apparent disregard for the Constitution, by Mr. President in many instances. For example, N900 billion was released in bailout package for states without Appropriation, the government was run for five months without a Cabinet, international commitment are being made without recourse to the National Assembly. All these are acts violating the Constitution.
b) Including Nigeria in the Saudi Arabia Military Coalition of “Muslim/Arab” nations would appear that the Foreign Policy thrust of the present administration is to make Nigeria a satellite state of Saudi Arabia. The strengthening of the nation’s democracy and security for all should remain the greatest priority of Government. This we see to have been negated by the President’s fiat/unilateral decision to enlist Nigeria in the 34 nations Muslim/Arab coalition. Given the emotive and sensitive nature of this unilateral Executive decision, it should have been handled by Mr. President in line with our democratic culture through popular discussion and participation by the citizenry, or at the very least, through the National Assembly.

c) Attempt to fund deficit in the 2016 Budget through issuance of Sukkuk loan which is a “Sharia compliant loan.” Nigeria is not a Sharia compliant nation.
d) The consideration of establishing “free visa” arrangement with Islamic D8 nations. These countries are: Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan, Turkey, and of course, Nigeria.
e) The apparent Islamization of key security positions in the country.
f) The apparent disdain and contempt of Mr. President for Christians in Nigeria as demonstrated during his interview on Al – Jazeera on the objection of Christians to Nigeria’s involvement in the Saudi led Military Coalition to fight ISIS.
We wish to remind Mr. President that he was brought to power through the votes of Nigerians, Christians inclusive. Mr. President should kindly remember that the over 50% non-Muslims in Nigeria did not vote for the nation to transmute into a Sharia compliant nation. Mr. President assured Nigerians that he is “a convert” to democracy but we are disturbed by the direction of his administration.
We are aware that there are presently Islamists in Government prepared to execute the Islamization Agenda. Any nation in which Islamists believe that they are sufficiently strong to exercise influence rarely experience peaceful cohabitation amongst the divergent groups within it. This is the current situation in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and the Sudan. Islamism thrives on injustice, inequality and unfairness. We urge Nigerians to remain circumspect so that the Islamists do not drag the nation down the path of destruction.

5. KADUNA STATE RELIGIOUS BILL

We wish to express tremendous shock at the proposed Kaduna State Religious Bill. The proposed Bill contravenes Section 38 (1) of the 1999 Constitution. We should remind the Government of Kaduna State that religion is personal and no one has the right to legislate on how individuals worship. We call on the Kaduna State Governor to retrace his steps from this ill-advised venture.
ABDUCTION AND FORCEFUL MARRIAGE OF UNDERAGED CHRISTIAN GIRLS
We are saddened by recent exposure in the country of serial cases of forceful abduction of underage, forceful marriage, marriage without parental consent of the Christian girls and their forceful conversion to Islam. We condemn in totality this act of violation of the Human Rights of these girls and it is a degradation of our national values.
We are also amazed that the Senate failed to pass the Gender and Equal Opportunity Bill into law. We strongly recommend that this Bill should be re-introduced and passed into law urgently.

6. RAMPAGE OF FULANI HERDSMEN

We are dismayed by the inaction of the Federal Government to the carnage and destruction caused by the Fulani herdsmen against legitimate native land owners and farmers, across the country. The most recent case occurred in Agatu area of Benue State in February 2016. According to media report by eye witnesses, over 300 Nigerians were allegedly massacred by the herdsmen and many communities were devastated in the attacks. It is most shocking that till today, there has been no prosecution of any of these marauders. For years, the Fulani herdsmen have been murdering innocent Nigerians with impunity. The murderous escapades of the Fulani herdsmen has gained international notoriety to the extent that the group is now considered, internationally, as the fourth most dangerous terror organization in the world. It is sad to note that Boko Haram, which is presently regarded as the world number one most dangerous terror organization and the Fulani herdsmen, considered the fourth are both operating in Nigeria. Meanwhile, the response of Government to the menace of the Fulani herdsmen has to date, been tepid and indifferent.

7. GRAZING RESERVE

One reason adduced to justify the perennial attacks of the Fulani herdsmen is the argument that they seek grazing fields for their cattle and as a result engage in conflicts with farmers. It was therefore proposed that ancestral lands of other ethnic groups should be allocated to them as grazing fields.
However, the most sensible and economically wise approach would be to build ranches for the herdsmen in their states of origin. This makes more sense and it is the internationally approved best practice under the circumstances. Other nations of the world consume beef yet, nomads do not drive herds of cattle all over the nation in the 21st century.
The Grazing Reserve proposal is seen as a deceptive manner of appropriating the lands of indigenous ethnic groups for the Fulani herdsmen to spread their tentacles of terror all over the nation. The proposal should be dropped and the state governments of the herdsmen should build ranches for them in their states of origin.

8. INCONSISTENT POLICIES

We find it curious that the Federal Government of Nigeria that has pledged total support for a two state solution to the Israel – Palestinian conflict, as well as support for the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), is not addressing the demand of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for a state of their own. To date, the leader of IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu is still under detention while there are frequent killings of the protesting members of the Movement. The latest in the series of attacks on the IPOB occurred on 9th February, 2016 when over twenty two members of the Movement were killed by soldiers during a prayer meeting in Aba.
It is difficult to rationalize why a government that is clamping down on agitations for self determination by an ethnic group within Nigeria, could be supporting such agitations in foreign countries. We recommend to the Government that as it is considering the case of SADR and the Palestinians, it should in like manner open dialogue with IPOB. The solution to the Biafra agitation is dialogue. While we discountenance any secessionist move, the solution to the Biafran agitation is dialogue.

9. RECOMMENDATIONS

a) Government should urgently convene a Council of State meeting to enable past presidents assess developments in the nation and give mature counsel.
b) A Truth and Reconciliation Commission should be set up to reconcile all Nigerians. It would appear that the Islamists, who ruled Nigeria for many years from the background, using various administrations as proxies, are now fully entrenched in the Government. The terms of reference of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission should include:
i.To distinguish the differences between Islam and Islamism and identify Nigerians that promoted Islamism in Nigeria.
ii.The role that Islamism played in promoting corruption and impunity, which includes cultism, a phenomenon that was developed in Nigeria in the last 30 years.
iii.Identify the role played by the armed forces, the police, and the intelligence agencies in the promotion of cultism, corruption and other vices that have since devastated Nigeria.
iv.To grant reprieve and pardon to any person, organization or group which confess to criminal, illegal and immoral act in the past.
v.To deal with the issues of genocide and/or marginalization perpetrated against certain ethnic minorities and promote reconciliation and healing to all those affected.
c) Every form of negotiation to involve Nigeria in issuing Sukkuk should be discontinued. Sukkuk is a “Sharia Compliant Loan” which does not serve the interest of all Nigeria because the nation is not a Sharia compliant nation. In addition, Sukkukwould jeopardize the sovereignty of Nigeria because under Sukkuk, both the lender and the debtor will own the asset which is based on land. It therefore implies that if Nigeria should eventually succumb to the acceptance of the Sukkuk loan, both the Arabs and Nigerians will own Nigeria.
d) To put an end to the murderous attacks of Fulani herdsmen, ranches should be established in the states of origin of the herdsmen. The Grazing Reserve proposal is seen as a deceptive manner of appropriating the lands of indigenous ethnic groups for the Fulani herdsmen to spread their tentacles of terror all over the nation.
e) The ownership of Nigeria can rightly be claimed by the Ethnic Nationalities. We call on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to complement the stand of the National Assembly on the Constitution and implement the Report of the National Conference as regards the Executive and Policy recommendations. The National Conference Report guarantees the introduction of true Federalism which is required to build a strong, united, and prosperous nation.
f) In view of the security challenges facing the nation, it is highly advisable that each ethnic group should develop Community Policing to protect its people and its land. The security agencies have not been effective in providing security, particularly for vulnerable communities in the nation.
g) For reasons shrouded in mystery, the government stopped the teaching of History as a subject in schools. From the experience of Black Africans in Sudan, Islamists employ this sly method to eradicate the history of the indigenous ethnic groups whose land the Arabs covet and wish to takeover. According to George Orwell, “The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.” A people without history, is a people without a future. We therefore demand that the teaching of History as a subject in schools should be reintroduced forthwith.

Fr Mbaka: Dear Holy Bishop, Father Mbaka Is Needed More In Maiduguri

Rev. Fr Mbaka a gift from God that must not be limited to Enugu.
As devout Roman Catholics, we need Rev Father Ejike Mbaka in Maiduguri or Kano or Adamawa Diocese where he is needed most. Christians are persecuted in the Dioceses mentioned above and more importantly there is poverty in the land.
So we need a strong priest with track record of charity, Charismatism, and “fearless”, as President Muhammadu Buhari described Mbaka, in the North East to convert more souls to our Lord Jesus Christ and Catholism. This would be following in the example of then Rev Father Matthew Hassan Kuka in Kaduna who is now in Caliphate Sokoto as Bishop of Sokoto Diocese .

We need Fr Mbaka as a senior priest of Adamawa or Maiduguri or Kano. In Maiduguri Diocese at least 50 out of 58 parishes in the Catholic Diocese have been destroyed by Boko Haram. We need Fr Mbaka-styled priesthood to rebuild them. He has a lot of charitable works in Enugu Diocese. I want him to repeat the same fit in Borno or Sokoto. Mbaka has the support of Mr President to preach the gospel, as well, so it is a job made easy for the Catholics.
I am aware that Rev Fr Mbaka actually prepared himself for the North because he hired a Haura translator in Enugu. So, it won’t be difficult for him.
By Baptism we were converted to Christ.
By confirmation we were made soldiers of Christ.
No Cross, No victory .

RELIGION: WHERE ARE THE PROPHETS?

RELIGION: WHERE ARE THE PROPHETS?

I have watched closely with every sense of concern on the reactions of our so called religious leaders on the recent calls from Biafrans for their freedom. I have also tried to match their reactions with those of Moses, Elijah, Micaiah, Nathan, David, Isaiah, John The Baptist, Jesus Christ, Paul, Martin Luther and Desmond Tutu of South Africa amongst others. What comes to my mind is: Are they using any other book than the Bible? If ‘’Yes’’, let us examine the life of our religious fathers in the Bible and compare with the so-called prophets we have today.
ARCHBISHOP DESMOND TUTU AND FATHER EJIKE MBAKA
First is Moses: According to Hebrew 11: 24-28 ‘’By Faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing RATHER TO SUFFER AFFLICTION with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of God greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. By faith, he forsook Egypt, NOT FEARING THE WRATH OF THE KING: for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible’’.
Now the question is, who among the Biafra pastors operates at this level of faith? Which of them can afford to forfeit their private jets, risk the closure of their churches by the federal government, their private universities, their fleet of cars and mansions just for the freedom of God’s people? It might interest you to know that Moses was not supposed to be a common man in Egypt; he was raised as a prince and could sit in Pharaoh’s stead, but he REFUSED TO BE CALLED THE SON OF PHARAOH’S DAUGHTER, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God. Maybe, the pastors do not see Biafrans as people of God so finds no reason to suffer affliction with them.

The Man David – In 1 Samuel 17:10, Goliath said ‘’I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together’’
David replied (1 Samual 17:36) ‘’Thy servant slew both lion and bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God’’.
My readers, watch how the spirit goes, the passion in Moses and David was not drawn from what they could get from the situation but to see the people delivered from bondage. Tell me how many pastors/priests/prophets that can risk their lives for the well being of the common man? They only go on the pulpit, preaching fake righteousness they cannot and will never practice.
SHAMELESS "PRIVATE JETS" RELIGIOUS LEADERS
Prophet Nathan: 2 Samuel 12:7-12 ‘’And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of Saul; And I gave thee thy master’s house, and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would have given unto thee such and such things. Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in his sight? Thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife. Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbor, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun’’.
This is Prophet Nathan talking to the king; he would have lobbied his way to be a friend with the king than this stern rebuke. Again I ask, where are the prophets? Which of them can rebuke Buhari this way as it regards the detention of Nnamdi Kanu? It is a big shame that it is taking people like the Sultan of Sokoto, Senator Yerima and Femi Fani Kayode to make such utterances. Ours are busy seeking for favours, receiving evil politicians in their assembly, praising them, gathering harvest levies, tithes and gifts.

WHAT UNION HAS LIGHT WITH DARKNESS
Elijah: I Kings 18:17-18 ‘’And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father’s house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord, and thou hast followed Balaam’’.
And I ask, which of our prophets does Buhari fear and can ask this kind of question? Now, I can boldly tell you that Nnamdi Kanu has not claimed to be a prophet but he is the one that has fitted the role of Elijah in the condition of our country today. I tell you, just like Elijah stopped rain for three and a half years in Israel, peace will not rain down in Nigeria till Nnamdi Kanu declares so; that is the authority God gives to truthful prophets.
THE FEARLESS PROPHET OF TRUTH, NNAMDI KANU
Micaiah: 1 Kings 22:8 ‘’And the king said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the Lord but I HATE HIM, FOR HE DOTH NOT PROPHESY GOOD CONCERNING ME, BUT EVIL’’. Here we can see the repeat of events, Buhari hates Nnamdi Kanu because he does not prophesy good concerning him, but evil. Hence, Buhari and his wife has resorted to visiting prophets who will prophesy only what they want to hear; prophets who will never tell them the consequences of their atrocities, the likes of Father Mbaka.
THE GREATEST SABOTEUR OF BIAFRA STRUGGLE-MBAKA

Isaiah: The whole book of Isaiah and his mission was about the blindness of Israel, which led to their captivity, the to the restoration which transcends to the Glory of Israel. The climax of it is in Isaiah 61:1-4 where he declared ‘’The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to BIND UP THE BROKEN HEARTED, to PROCLAIM LIBERTY TO THE CAPTIVES and the OPENING OF PRISON to them that are BOUND, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of VENGEANCE of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that MOURN in Zion, to give them BEAUTY FOR THEIR ASHES, THE OIL OF JOY FOR MOURNING, THE GARMENT OF PRAISE FOR THE SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS; that they might be called TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified’’.
My readers, the text above is the purpose of the spirit of the Lord; it is always about the people and their freedom… that is the whole essence of God’s relationship with man. Godliness is not just avoiding fornication and stealing but in fact, is targeted first, towards the well being of the body and mind, the soul. Again I ask, do we really have anointed prophets that works to fulfill this or self acclaimed prophets whose interests is only how to enrich themselves through collection of offerings and tithes?
COWARD RELIGIOUS LEADERS WHO CANNOT CONDEMN EVIL
John The Baptist: Matthew 14:1-5 ‘’At that time, Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus, and said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him. For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife. For John said unto him, it is not lawful for thee to have her. And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet’’.
BECAUSE OF THIS CROWD NNAMDI KANU'S LIFE WAS SAVED

Don’t be marveled, events just repeat itself. Buhari would have long put Nnamdi Kanu to death if not of the multitude that have counted Nnamdi Kanu to be a prophet of their time. Nnamdi Kanu’s crime was that he spoke the TRUTH, called out the evil in Nigeria and condemned it, just as John The Baptist did. Though some acclaimed prophets pretend to do the same; they never call it out and condemn it to the weight of the atrocities in the land. They rather sit at the fence and paint words; because once they out rightly condemn evil, they will find themselves in prison which is the last place they will want to be. They fear the wrath of the government and never endured as seeing Him who is invisible.

Jesus Christ: I can write a whole book on how Christ’s life is about the freedom of man, but I will only take us to one passage of the bible on this.
Isaiah 53:4-6 ‘’Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all’’.
The above text is again, the life of a prophet and a leader. He carries the whole burden of his people, corrects them in love and suffers the affliction of them all. Where are the prophets that will rather die for Biafrans than to be friend with the Nigeria government? Who is that prophet that is out to be bruised for our iniquities? Who will bear the chastisement of our peace? Where are the prophets? Where are the prophets?

ARCHBISHOP DESMOND TUTU
I can go on and on but coming down to our age, South Africa faced the same challenge we are facing today just before their independence. The question is: How did the churches in South Africa react to this? What was the role of their prophets, priests and pastors? It will interest you to know that the church in South Africa went radical about it, contrary to the cold, dead, and starched-up Christianity we have in Biafra land. Independence was preached in their local churches; evangelism became all about the freedom of the people. Known by all is Desmond Tutu, a South African Anglican cleric, who is known for his role in the opposition to apartheid during the 1980’s. He became the first black person to be appointed the Anglican Dean of Johannesburg in 1975; but rather than use his office to acquire friendship with the whites, this was what he has to say in one of his speeches: ‘’I realize that I have been given a platform that was not readily available to many blacks and most of our leaders are either now in chains or in exile. And I say, I’m going to use this to seek to try to articulate our aspirations and the anguishes of our people’’. He did not only say it, rather, he worked on it and at the end, South Africa became free from every oppression of the whites.
Finally, I ask: If Moses was to be here today, will he prefer to suffer affliction with Biafrans or make friends with Nigerian politicians? What will Moses do if he sees Nigerian police torturing a peaceful Biafran protester? What will David say to Buhari that has sworn to crush peaceful protesters? How will Nathan approach Buhari? Will John The Baptist chide from the situation of Biafra agitators today? Are there still prophets like these men? Or has God changed? The pastors/priests of today have all decided to put deaf ears on these calls for freedom but they will never escape the judgement of God; for judgement will start in the house of God. Jesus said Mark 8:35 ‘’For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.

MY FEW WORDS TO OHANEZE: Exodus 23:8 ‘’And thou shall take no gift: for gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous’’
MY WORDS TO BIAFRA FAITHFULS: Isaiah 51:1-3 ‘’For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving and the voice of melody. Harken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make judgement to rest for a light of the people. My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust’’.

So fellow Biafrans, lets fight on, lets continue protesting, lets continue making our voices heard to the ends of the earth that in the end freedom shall be ours. Our leader Nnamdi Kanu is still incarcerated in the enemy camp. We must continue to agitate and press for his freedom until he finally regains his freedom. Because He stands for truth, because He stands for honesty, victory will surely be ours at the end of the day.
May Chukwu Okike Abiama bless and keep us all. Isee! Isee!! Isee!!!
